Kumarakom is a village whic is situated in Vembanad Lake in Kerala, southern India.It’s laced with canals,houseboats ply the waters.Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species,the main species in the bird sanctuary are cuckoos and Siberian storks.
Near to bird sanctuary the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures.Pathiramanal Island is the haven for rare migratory birds.Ancient Thazhathangady Mosque is east of Kumarakom.
